Rich Man Update
As I suspected, $500 was nothing more than a minor hassle to the Mercedes man. He was parked in the fire lane again yesterday. So I called the police. Again. Anyone want to take bets that he’s parked there again today?

Or he’s too fast and isn’t getting caught. I’ve known many a rich man and few are happy about paying $500 every afternoon for a fake tan.
Although the guy who owns Cisco in San Francisco apparently drives his Ferrari in the carpool lane everyday because the traffic is so bad. They ticket him all the time and he doesn’t care. Billionaires are like that.
panda, I really enjoyed sweating my ass of with you yestersay! Thanks for the great conversation! can’t wait to do it again!
See I’m torn on this issue. I don’t think it’s alright to punish people who have strived to make more money with a higher amount on a ticket. But in the same respect, I don’t think it’s alright of a rich person who can afford $500 or whatever to constantly disobey the law. Perhaps rather than a higher amount punishment it should be like the 3 strikes and your out. Each time they have break the same law the amount increases… until finally, they have no choice but to spend some time in jail… no money due. Bet that would get any fancy-pants rich man’s attention.
Heh.
Just my two cents.
Or possibly just take their license away. I’m all for that. Driving is a privelage.
BTW… I’m having the damnedest time trying to get the sidebar section you have of "Who I’m Reading"… is there some magical way to do this? Or am I just missing the obvious? Or is it an upgrade from the free blog that I have? Thanks for any help.
PS - I looked in on features and it talks about this ability… and something about bookmarklets but I can’t find that… am I that dumb?!
Neh, I’m too cheap to get the upgraded one too. This is the free one and its totally easy to do the thing on the sidebar.
When you’re in your account, click on ‘Sidebar’. Then under ’sidebar’ you should see ‘blogrolls’. Once you click on that you should see a thing that says ‘New Blogroll’. Give it a name, then click ‘new blogroll’, it’ll show up in your list. Then just click ‘manage’ and you’re all set! Just put in the titles and web addresses you want.
Thank you soo much… would have taken me forever to figure out… and I like to humor myself as being computer literate! Heh.
